the windows setup stops by 13 minutes, windows is "registering components" at this moment.
i think it has something to do with the integration of my programs. do i have to move my installation files of the programs directly into the windows instllation folder (for example $OEM$) before burning? as you can see under [Hotfixes], the partition is d:. does nlite already copy the hole programs into the nlite installation, or do i have to copy them from d: to the nlite (or windows) directory myself? same thing with the drivers. i put only the *.ini files of the drivers into nlite. i dont know if it copies the installation files to the directory itself.

you see, im a big noob to this. but anyway, i hope you can help me!

regards
mike

That is the time when Windows Installs your addons... It will stop there for awhile, then continue...

Moist likely it is Office and AVG that slow it down the most, as they are big programs...

If the install doesn't continue, it means something is wrong with one of your addons...

You do not have to add any files, Nlite should do it for you...

hi
thx for your answer. well, i let the installation work the whole night. so i suppose that there's a problem with the addons. i've already tried with only av added as add-on, but it was the same thing.i will try it one more time, without any add-ons or drivers. if it won't work neither, i'll give it up ;-)

did you make the addons yourself?
zuerchermi
yes, i did them myself except the av8. i tried it with only the av8 add-on and the ati display driver yesterday. same problem. if it helps, here how i made my add-ons:
- i made a folder called svcpack somewhere on my computer and put the *.exe file in there (only if there was just one executable)
- in the same directory as the folder, i put the entries.ini with the following lines:
QUOTE
[general]
builddate=2008/08/26
description=für Win XP/w2k/w2k3
language=Deutsch
title=TeamSpeak2RC
version=2.0
website=http://www.german-nlite.de

[EditFile]
I386\SVCPACK.INF,SetupHotfixesToRun,AddProgram

[AddProgram]
ts2.exe /s

- then i added the entries.ini into nlite

i only used single executable programs, because in the first step i didn't want to build silent packs.
is there anything wrong with the creation of my add-on's?

thanks again for your help!

I think I might see your problem... Are you using an AVG8 x64 addon? I don't use x64, but it may not be able to emulate x86 during the install... you might want to wait for someone with x64 unattended knowledge, but it might be that avg is for x86...

AND also BE SURE that your drivers are for x64 and not x86...
zuerchermi
hmm, ok! i will check that! actually, i am sure that i used x64 drivers, but maybe i took the wrong one ;-)
thanks for your help!
