Got a problem with Word 2007. When I create a table and put text into it things seem fine. When I return to any cell of that table and edit the text, the cell turns light blue and the adjacent cells turn dark blue. Clicking between cells causes this too. It's really annoying as the fonts are barely visible. If you save the doc and reopen it all is fine.

Appears to be a display issue. I updated the graphics drivers and ram, but problem still exists.

Any suggestions? I tested this on two other workstations and they are all behaving properly.

Thanks

I found the solution to this problem on a Microsoft newsgroup finally. here's the link and a partial excerpt. Sure enough, my user had the "Different first page" and Different odd and even" buttons on his QAT,

It's a known issue. Although you'll find quite a number of good guesses
(including a preliminary one that it was caused by adding too many buttons
to the QAT), it turns out that the problem is caused by adding certain
specific buttons to the QAT. "Different first page" and "Different odd and
even" are known to create the problem, but there may be others; if you
happen to figure out that the issue is caused by a different button in your
case, please report back which one it is.
