Hi!

Does nLite currently have any kind of logging option? Because I was trying to nlite Server 2003 and this was the error thrown at me: "Missing security settings, aborting". No explanation, nLite just quits a second after it starts processing.

I used RVMi to add a couple of things:
07:34:54 - Extracting WindowsServer2003-PostSP2-Critical-UpdatePack-ENU-x86_Siginet-2008.04.rar
07:34:59 - Extracting ENU_Addons_BVProSvcDescriptions_SP3.zip
07:35:00 - Extracting Gorki_AddOn_JkDefragGUI_300508.cab
07:35:02 - Extracting JD976_Stimpy_DotNetFX3.5SP1_Addon_v2.0.7z
07:35:07 - Extracting Kels_CPLBonus_addon_v8.4.CAB
07:35:10 - Extracting NonnoFabio_IE7_Win2K3SP2_v2.2.0_AddOn_ENU.CAB
07:35:10 - Extracting NR_CursorsAIO_Addon_1.9.rar
07:35:11 - Extracting onepiece_directx_addon_v1.2.1_for_win2k3_post-sp2.7z
07:35:16 - Extracting Reapers_PC_Wizard_2008.1.85.2_CPL_AddOn.7z
07:35:17 - Extracting Ricks_RecycleBin_SMD_AddOn_v0.6.rar

While it would probably make more sense to add the drivers using dpbase, they are definitely not the cause.

For some reason at the beginning, the dot next to "Unattended" is yellow instead of red. Why is that`?

But my main question is still - does nLite have a logging option?

desiderio,
The yellow button next to Unattended means there are Unattended changes already in your source. Are you trying to nLite a source that is already nLited? If so, you are asking for a real mess and strange error messages. You must start with a clean un-nLited source except in some very special cases. Trying to add changes on top of changes is asking for trouble.
Hope this helps.
Enjoy, John.

No, my source is definitely not previously nlited (winnt.sif is an empty file and it asks for my key when installing), hence my confusion.
