Hello all,
I uninstalled WinFS (or so I believe) taking the advice of the 4051 tweakguide, I do however want to explore the possibilities that the new File system has to offer, so trying to re-install it via the add/remove windows components area, Almost complete, it assures me that it cannot find a whole bunch of files begining with master and ending in different file extentions.
Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You Cannot Get It Back. . You will have to Reinstall Windows Longhorn

did you disable the service, and any services it depends on, if so re enable them

The WinFS file system causes major hassel and really slows the build down. If you want to explore the new system, Install a build of longhorn that you dont mind messing up and breaking on a Virtual PC and play with it on there.
