If so.. I Would like to Hear If It Is The Trouble of Installing It..

If you are wodering, just partition your Hard drive and install it as a secondary OS, but if you are looking for a new Primary OS this is not for you.

Anyone who takes Longhorn over XP would be asking for a long leap off an even longer cliff. Common sense people.

Ooer look at all the scaremongers!

Its like being in a fish yard for FUD!

Oh please, you've got S.F.A to be afraid of, and those that are, are only afraid of change.

However, if you are going to use it as a primary OS, make sure you've got plenty of patience, and CDR's to back up your critical data.

Afraid of change? You runnin' LH as your primary OS? At this point, I run LH on a seperate partition. I'm trying to hammer a network issue with it, so having it as my primary OS would be self-deafeating, as I tend to do most of my work from home.

Besides, anyone that can get scared off from trying something by listening to us posters on a board has issues.

Now, you're more than welcome to use it as your primary OS, so keep the patience and CD-R within reach and in abundance.

No I'm not using Longhorn. I don't have a copy of it, and don't wish to obtain a copy of it unless I can get it from Microsoft.

When it comes out, I'll be there waiting to purchase it.

My original statement wasn't aimed at you specifically, but at the general FUD replies.

I know it wasn't aimed at me. I've got copies of all the builds, but I have only used 4008 and 4015. Once I realized how much of a hog it was on my system, I pulled it. I keep them to complete my wall fish (AKA the one done on the AOL commercials).

Once LH goes beta and the request for testers goes out, I'm plod along like a good lemming and submit my request.

The only people who should really be useing Longhorn are those its been sent/given to, But dont forget Microsoft monitor forums like this one and take heed of what people say including unregistered testers.

I see no problem with people downloading, installing and useing it as long as they dont exspect everything to work.

One thing I have found since joining this forum is that people seem to think that Longhorn is ready and out on the shelves where as in reality it has a very long way to go.

Just dont exspect to much,,

I hope vaughaag that you are referring to authorized LH testers by Microsoft (which I believe you are). MSFN does not condone illegal use of any software at any time.
