Hi there! My CD longhorn are not bootable, can i use the boot image of XP professional over longhorn. Can i slepstream the non bootable longhorn and use winXP professional boot image?

hmmm dont know why my cd is not bootable, im planing to slepstream it and use windows XP boot image instead, is it possible? i install my longhorn in windows xp professional, i mean i run the setup program in windows xp environment.. please guide me!

Well, I compared the two 2kb boot img files, one from a bootfix for 4051, and one from the MSFN Unattended guide, and they are not the same. I guess the only thing for you to do is simply try to use the XP boot image. If that doesn't work, google around for a "Boot fix" for your version of Longhorn.
