Helo,

Have anybody an idea , how does i start the windows pe with pxelinux over the network ??
thornrose
For PXE booting Windows PE requires Microsoft Remote Installation Services (RIS). RIS has got speciali server-side code that authenticates Windows PE with the server itself for access to the network share with WinPE's system files.

I've tried and have come to the conclusion that PXE booting WinPE without RIS is not possible.

P.S. I'm hoping to be corrected of course, but I'm not holding my breath newwink.gif

Cheers.

PXE booting will be possible with Version 1.6 which is not yet avaliable.
I have all my code in place for my PXE build... And I'm stopped at haveing an ISO that will PXE boot. RIS is not an option for me in our environment.

Microsoft says it will be at least 4 - 6 weeks before thay will even have a beta of 1.6.
