cool.gif I'm looking for a reasonable priced nVidia AGP card for W2K/XP/Linux to replace my TNT-64 for a Workstation that will support DirectX9. I don't run Games, but need stable drivers for Photoshop, etc, without spending the money for a Quadro card. Any suggestions would be great.

I don't know but you might want to consider a good Matrox card instead. No point spending money on fancy 3D stuff that you aren't going to use, and the 2D picture quality of the Matrox cards is top notch; might be more stable too. Just curious but if you aren't gaming, why do you want a DX9 card?

Thanks: I will look into the Matrox cards. I only need DX9 for two DVD Authoring/Editor programs.

You might also want to consider an ATI All-In-Wonder series card if you are doing any kind of video capture or want a TV Tuner. They have great image quality now also and the drivers have really matured. The latest models are fully DX9 ready. smile.gif

Skyfrog: Thanks. I've tried ATI cards in the past, but the drivers were written by an unborn child amd worked about as good as a "Pet Rock". I will look into these now that drivers are more stable.
