has anyone have windows script host installed/enabled in winPE? I wanted to make sure that i can write vbs scripts before i write them and find out you cant.

You can, by using buildoptionalcomponents.vbs see your OPK docs for more info.

Yeah, I've done it, and vbscripts do work. You will still want to test them though because I think 99% of the functions are available.

i've found the file but what do exactly do with it? do i run this file? and it'll install the wsh ?? i've tried to lookin in WinPE.chm but it doesnt mention anything on buildoptioncomponent.vbs

Run the BuildOptionalComponents script from a full-blown windows install. It takes command line arguments (such as where is your source XP CD, etc).. it'll dump the folder on your desktop with the files you need to copy into the WinPE source.
