I am the new proud owner of a Shuttle XPC SN85G4 for which I purchased an AMD 64 3000+ a gig of ddr ram and unfortunately a sata maxtor hard drive. This piece of crap is unbelieveable I have followed the instructions to the T looked all over these forums and im screwed.

When its time to instal the drivers I stick the 3.5 floppy in and select the os XP, and press enter and keep getting an error

"file si3112r.sys has caused and unexpected fault at ........(wow how did they know I wouldnt have expected it)

anyway long story short if anyone knows how to do this even better has done it I am searching for an answer. I dont think anyone knows.....

do you have all these files on ur fd ?

even try redownloading the

Try skipping the F6 step and continue to load windows withought those drivers. If windows does not see your hard drive, then look in the mobo manual for BIOS settings and see if you can put the drive into IDE mode, it should be very well spelled out for you in the manual.
