You know where it says if you're a newb, member, or whatever, how do people change that?

Normally that would be set up to change with the number of posts a member has made. Say it would change @ 100 posts then again @ 250 or 500 or whatever is set up. Some boards allow use of custom user titles after a certain number of posts.

After looking around I see it is:
Newbie - 0 Posts
New Member - 20 Posts
Member - 60 Posts
Advanced Member - 100 Posts

One of the Admins or Mods would have to answer that. I don't see the option anywhere.

Yep you can change it, i think its at 60 posts.. not sure, too lazy to look just now (and playing bf 1942 too much!)

anyone got any beter titles? ok.. i understand if people dont like being called "teh n00b" but thats all we could think of at the time! heh

Were you able to do it before the 100 posts mark?

EDIT: Hmmm, can't delete your own posts here. That was a question for ThA_FiLeR but FthrJACK answered it before I posted.

Due to a large amount of requests, I've allowed the editing of user titles for all members no matter how many posts they have. biggrin.gif

I think it used to be in Profile Info but I can't seem to find it now.

Medival:
Peasant, Merchant, Knight, Nobleman, King's Court, KING


Biblical:
Parishioner, Priest, Bishop, Archbishop, Episcopal Cardinals,Presbyteral Cardinals, Diaconal Cardinals, Pope

Redneck:
Kinfolk, Lovin' Cousins, Youngins or Chil'ren, Maw, Paw

Executive:
employee, manager, secretary, treasurer, vice president, president, COO, CEO, Board Director, Owner

Alphabetical:
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I.... A being the best, B next and so on...

TECH RELATED:
developers, package developers, and system implementors, R&D, Marketing, etc...

Just a few I thought up.

I would happy enought if you just could change it ...

Oops, changing the limit to '0' disabled it completely.

Its fixed now:

Go to Your Control Panel > Edit Profile Info > look on the right side, and you'll see a field called "Custom member title"
