My old one is a 40GB Seagate Barracuda Ultra ATA, 7200 rpm. Or just see here: http://www.seagate.com/cda/products/discsa...081,583,00.html
Now, what I'm wondering is, will a Seagate 300GB, SATA, 8MB, 7200RPM work with my other hdd? (This is a Seagate too BTW) Or does a new hdd have to an Ultra ATA as well?
I don't all that much about what hardware works with what, so I don't want to spend a bunch of cash on a hdd that I later discovere I can't use..
