OK, for those of you who haven't heard: Aparently all P4 CPUs from 2.4B and up have Hyper Threading, that is disabled by default. The CPUs contain a small programable area, similar to the BIOS of the Motherboard, that control different features / paramameters of the CPU. One of them is Hyper Threading. The Conclusion is that Microcode updates ARE prosible and CAN, if done right, enable HT (Someone did it by mistake). The Big question is now. Is there a program out there that updates the Microcode to enable HT? ... have searched for ages and found nothing but Forum discusions and "It is posible" articles ...

Anyone?

To the best of my knowledge there is not a program out there that will enable HT on the fly.

From everything I have read it is impossible to accomplish anyway. What few claims-to-fame that have appeared across the internet were quickly dispelled owed largely to misunderstandings.
