I'm trying to put build 5219 on my Toshiba Satellite M35X-S329 laptop and get a blue screen of death at the beginning of setup:

The BIOS in this system is not fully ACPI compliant. Please contact your system vendor for an updated BIOS.

I'm using the latest BIOS for this model, which is 1.90. What could the prob be?

I've never had this happen with earlier builds of Longhorn/Vista.

I got the same problem, i have a post up as well, i'm guessing its a driver issue, maybe something with the ide controller. Perhaps its just that i left my power to auto and maybe i should select multiproc acpi, whats your set to?

Same error, diffrent OS. and not a laptop hehe
