I tried out 64bit windows and found it ,other than being buggy, no different from xp 32bit. Is vista worth trying yet or am I to wait for the next leaked release. + what's the current best release ?

my hardware is an x2 3800 7800gfx 1gig of ram on nf4 with a sb-xfi. So would i have any joy on the driver front and will i get all the fancy vista transperancy .etc effects?

the hardware supports it but you dont seem to have the right attitude.

What did you find buggy about x64?

the next release of vista will be a code complete version (supposedly) which will mean many bugs still, if that bothers you you are better of staying away for a bit till either it is released or there is another ctp later in the year

Thanks for the heads up fizban. I really hope Vista does not need a SP to come into its own. I am quite tired of using XP and want something fresh!!!!
