I'd like to do this for my WinPE. Does vmware just support installing within vmware? Because that's enough for me. =/ I don't want to go to Virtual PC to do this because VPC sucks. I have nothing but bad experiences with it. x_X'

Why would you want to do this? confused.gif

I know it's uneventful to a lot of people. I just want to prove it can run in PE and then I'm done with it. It's not part of a recovery plan because it's just too big to keep around. =/

There's no problem running several Vm PC's with several VM's inside them again. With enough hardware, mainly memory and hdd space, you can run more or less infinite vm's. If you are, totally crazy.

If so, make **** sure you DON'T TAKE THE BLUE PILL!

As you say, it's crazy ! Did you patch your copy of VMware ? What product/verssion ? Asking cause in principle, VMware will check and refuse to run inside a VM - using the backdoor API.

In any case you must take a very serious penalty hit for the inner VMs. I assume your physical system has processor virtualisation extensions available ?

Amusing sight anyway
