I'm trying to use Vista 5308 under a domain account, but administrative permissions don't seem to take affect. I've haded my domain account to the local admin group, however I'm still asked for permission when accessing most of whats in the control panel, and I'm getting "Access Denied" when trying to delete old user folders.

Anyone else experience this / have suggestions?

UAC (user access control)New feature in vista. Even though you are a admin on the machine, you run as a normal user until those admin rights are needed. THis is part of MS's take on Least User Access stragety. as the the old folers, the permissions on vista are VERY resctricive, check the folders to see who has what privileges to what with that folder.
