The two WinXPs and the RC boot perfectly, but when I boot into WinPE, there's some kind of error and then it reboots. The error starts off with "Not enough...." and then the maching reboots. I have tried 5 times to read this error to see what it's complaining about to no avail. wacko.gif It get's as far as showing the background. blink.gif Any ideas as to what is going on and how I can fix it? unsure.gif

I am new to using WinPE, but it seems quite powerfull for unattended installs for WinXP.

Oh, and I did make sure that I was using SP2 for WinPE too, as in the RC and WinXP itself.

virtual memory perhaps...? Everything else i've seen blue screens

What file do you change to configure virtual memory? My understanding was that WinPE does not use VM (Doesn't even require a harddisk!!). I'm thinking that it's a problem with not enough memory, but the machine has 512MB.

Are you doing anythem special in your startnet.cmd? Perhaps remove the factory -winpe and try...I used a Server 2003 SP1 as a base...that way...you can load WinPE straight into ram... smile.gif
