hi guys

really big question

I have a really big problem with running vista. the problem is, that it is really slow. it takes about 3 mins to boot, and everything seems to stutter a bit. i've installed the drivers for my videocard forceware 88.61, but i couldn't get it to work properly. so i switched back to some older drivers which increased the speed a bit, but it is still monsterousally slow. so i installed my soundcard drivers with no problems only the gameport wasn't installed at the same time. i really want to get vista running faster because this is just a big laugh...
plz help

my specs:

amd 64 3200+
1gig ram
gigabyte k8vt800 mobo(vt8327 s-ata driver)
gf 6800gt 256 mbr
creative audigy
vista build 5384

I also noticed some slow down, i'm gonna try this out. Thanks for the heads up.

On a side note, i noticed that when scrolling on web pages that the screen does not move very smoothly at times with Vista. Turns out that this is some sort of IE7 issue, because the same thing happens with IE7 in Win XP.
