Over 98 million members? And only 2 categories:
1. Those who come just to ask a question every now and then (see the posts labeled "NEED HELP")...
2. Those who spend time regularly here, trying to help other people and share information.

No, he registered under that DataBase number. In fact, there has been 118655 registrations, but xper deleted a lot of spammers and inactive accounts. When you take the current number of users (98974) from this number above, you'll get the number of deleted accounts..

I had hardware.fr in mind: 500k members, 38M posts; it rather looks like a giant shoutbox (plus some highly elaborated messages

).

That is one of the things I love about our community: very high signal to noise ratio.

Anyway, thanks for the update. And, ohh, what do I see in quick access ?
SPOILER tag ?
Oh. Nice.
The only problem I see is this color gradient on the editor part. Looks like Office2007.

Let's say you want to reveal the ending of a movie to members, you would use the spoiler tag in order to prevent certain people who do not want to know the ending from reading it.

There is no hard limit. Such things are limited by server/database performance.
