Greetings.
We currently use PE1.0 to install Windows Server x86.
Starting a project to deploy Windows Server x64 servers.

What version of PE do I need to obtain?

Thanks in advance.
Jazkal
There are two main versions of WinPE; v1.6 (aka winpe 2005) or the newest v2.0 (aka Vista WinPE).

Only v2.0 is available to everyone. If you have a SA agreement with Microsoft then you can get the v1.6. Either of these will do x64 installs. It will be a learning curve for either, as they both are different from what you are used to with v1.0.

IMO, you should just start with v2.0 and go from there.

You could just use the version of PE that you currently are using to deploy the 32bit version.

Although I'd have to agree with Jazkal, if it were me I'd go with 2.0.

Does 2.0 come with Vista then?
Any version of Vista in particular?
I will look into using 2.0 as you recommend.

Thanks.

Windows PE 2.0 comes in the WAIK (Windows Automated Installation Kit) or with BDD2007. search download.microsoft.com for it.
