Within my "Downloads" folder (and subfolders) I can all of a sudden not select all (edit menu, select more files by mouse nor shift/ctrl plus mouse click). I can only select one file at a time. How come?

Edit: Also with checkbox thingy on, I can only select one file.

Just the 1 folder (and sub-folders) have this symptom?

If so, close all Explorer windows, launch RegEdit and drill down to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell

For safety, right-click on "Bags" and export it so you have a backup.

Delete the "Bags" key, then recreate it as an empty key.

Log off & back on again, then check your folder selection issue.

Seems there are more folders that have this issue and it seems kind of random :/ strange!
