Thunderbolt 2864

I've already joined some ATI forum and I couldn't find a solution there so I'll guess I'll try here.
I'm currently using an older driver which has no problems, but if I use the latest drivers, the game would crash frequently after a few minutes of playing or instantly. I don't know ifs the drivers or something thats conflicting it. I have all the updates, updated everything including my chipset drivers and DirectX(I'm using a Gigabyte motherboard with Nvidia technology chipset drivers by the way) but no avail.
I'm using an ASUS EAX1600 Pro by the way.
Any solutions here? Please help, thanks.

some details would help...
game in question:
old driver version:
newest driver version:
does the issue only occur on this one game, or is it everything you play?
Did you completely uninstall the old drivers before installing the new ones, or did you install the new on top of the old?

1. It crashes on every game I would play.
2. I'm currently using 6.7 for Windows XP 32 bit
3. It crashes on the newer drivers from 7 to 7.2
I formatted my computer and did a full clean copy of Windows and installed the drivers, the problem persisted. I have two ATI cards and the ATI Radeon 9600XT doesn't crash when I use the new driver, only on the current computer I'm using which is weird.

I can commiserate. I have a x1950xt.
My solution is to use 6.12 drivers .. .they work the best
