How can i run nlitedOS setup? on my usb drive, can i run winnt.exe on dosmode to run windows setup cause i don't want to burn alot of cd's also usb drive is much faster than cdrom

I also would like to do something along the same lines, except that since I have a Compact Flash reader built into my machine and intend to use a 4Gb CF card to carry an nLite install. However I would appreciate any advice on how to make either part or the whole of the CF card bootable. I have spent some time googling, and have found mention of installing onto CF cards for CarPCs and Media Centres, but nothing about installing from a CF card. The closest I have found it a command line to be run after booting into a BartPE environment.

Yeah, true there's is a guide booting WindowsXP on usb but not booting windows xp nlited installation setup on usb.. i have alot cdrw i really hate burn and then erase it just waste of time

I run nLited OS image through Windows Deployment Service(RIS).

Yes, of course unless you remove the feature with nlite.
