Recently i got Windows Vista RC1 and installed on my computer with the following config
Intel 945 GCCR Motherboard and Pentium D Processor with 512 MB of RAM.
I couldnt get the Windows Vista Aero Theme.Does Intel 945 chipset support Windows Vista Aero?
So how do i get the Aero?

Vista will decide if your hadrware is capable of running Aero. It will be mostly down to the abilities of your graphcs card.

If Vista decides it can't run Aero on a particular setup, I'm not sure forcing it on is really the best idea.

Vista on 512MB RAM just sounds painful.

The chipset doesn't determine your aero usage your video capabilities does....

You need to find out how much ram your video card has in it...

Judging by the scores though there is no way your system can handle aero...

Intel 945G CAN run Windows Aero, however Aero is being disabled because of your 512 MB RAM.

You think i should upgrade my memory

I personally would have done that before going to Vista. Just because Microsoft says it will run on 512mb doesn't mean you should. Or that you will get everything you want.

512MB is Basic requirement
Aero is Premium so u need anything >512 MB to have Premium Experience

Ofcoz 945 is supported bcoz of u r 512MB ram vista just not enable aero auomatically
u hav to force it
