This is really really driving me up the wall!!!! Firstly, this is a genuine gold hologramed purchased windows vista ultimate 64bit oem that i am geting this error on EVERY time i try to install.
Here is the message i get after about 10 secs of the grey page coming on and windows starts to load files:
WINDOWS BOOT MANAGER
WINDOWS HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM COMMUNICATING WITH A DEVICE CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER.
THIS ERROR CAN BE CAUSED BY UNPLUGGING A REMOVEABLE STORAGE DEVICE SUCH AS AN EXTERNAL USB DEVICE WHILST THE DEVICE IS IN USE, OR BY FAULTY HARDWARE SUCH AS A HARD DRIVE OR CD ROM THAT IS FAILING. MAKE SURE ANY REMOVEABLE STORAGE IS PROPERLY CONNECTED AND THEN RESTART YOUR COMPUTER.

Now, i have one 120gb sata drive with one partition on it, 1 usb mouse, 1 keyboard, and i dvd writer. That is all i have connected.... none of it gets disconnected, none of it is faulty....... so why wont vista install?

Please help, ive just spent like £140 on this and it wont install - not happy like.
