my cousin have an intel celeron board its too old maybe 5 year but its awesome on these things

1)error resistance
2)fast speed (even 32mb rocks)
3)till now its running as rocking as it was when it was bought

what i have noticed that usually after a year or two display goes .i mean u turn on the power button but nothing happens CPU is running its power light is on but monitor shows nothing & this problem usually can't be solved & company changes ur board

so such mess didn't happened on his pc & that is too good thumbup.gif

wheres no option for there is no answer. many people like a certain brand, so that is who they will vote for.
and certain mobos are better than others. mine was top of the line a couple years ago but now there are tons better than it.
and overclocking doesnt matter?

so dont pick mobo manufacturers, pick actual mobos. if you are interested in buying a mobo then ask in the hardware forum.

There is no such thing as an Intel Celeron motherboard, btw.

GigaByte!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gigabyte or ABIT
ssgatbliss
The ABITs I had in the past were great for tweaking but really picky about what components you put in them. I have had three different ASUS baords and although they are limited in some areas such as voltage settings they are rock solid.

Had to vote other. No Abit on ballot. I have had several models of Abit from KA7-100, K7, KT, NF, AN, and now my first 64bit KN9 series of Mobos. None of them have given me problems (Motherboard Only).

IMO Abit makes for one of the MOST stable rock solid boards for just using as stock or overclocked.

Thunderbolt 2864
Gigabyte for me. Been using it for years and I find them easy and somewhat reliable. Had an ASUS motherboard and I thought it was horrible.

Owned 4 so far, all ASUS, thinking about going Gigabyte this next round when I upgrade with a Core 2 Duo new system. thumbup.gif

Have an Asus K8V SE Deluxe which i dislike much. Never owned a Gigabyte board but voted for them since they are using solid capacitors. I've only been buying Shuttle though because they integrate so well with the case; synergy.

MSI sucks. Use Intel.
Wesmosis
ASUS 955X Premium
amit_talkin
ASUS.

i didnt know what to vote for, i always used asus up until my last one died (the only seemed to last me a max of 2 years, then they would die) alot of people on here recommended that i get a DFI board. i bought the lan party UT ultra-d and i like it but ive been through three of them in the past 6 months or so. (the first one i broke myself, the second one game me the same problems as the first one (both were used, i bought a POST card to see if i can figure out what the problem actually is) and then i bought a new one, which started to give me the same problems but i monkeyed around with it and it works. it seems to be that the processor is the problem)
Stoic Joker
Currently running an Asus Commando which is my second Asus Mboard & I'm quite happy with it. Other brands I like are Tyan (Both of my Dual PIII servers run on a S1834D-I), Supermicro (My other server, Dual Xeon/X6DAL-TG), & Gigabyte
Chozo4
My loyalties lay with the EPoX line actually. Their boards have been very flexible, overclockable, long life (have yet to have one die on me yet), and most of all rock solid stable even during many of the harshest over/under clocking enviroments. smile.gif

Very Happy here using MSI

My 3rd MSI board

First was K7T266 Pro2-A
Second was K8T Neo2-F
Now i'm using a K9A Platinum
