I have a problem. When I open up Windows Mail it seems to be slow. Example is when I click like to delete it, it will take a few seconds for the button to go down and perform the action. I don't really notice this in any other program.

Windows Mail's startup is awfully slow as well. Not sure what your problem could be. Once it starts running, the speed is decent for me.

Hang tight because MS is releasing a new program that will replace Windows Mail. It's going to incorporate features of OE, Windows Mail Desktop, and Windows Mail and there will be no ads.

Here's the new Windows Live Mail beta.

It's supposed to replace OE in XP and Mail in Vista.

No Ads in this one.

Looks decent so far but it's beta.
