If I remember correctly the icon your refering to is stored in %SystemRoot%\system32\webcheck.dll

Perhaps (re)registering the file will restore the custom icon?

Can you please tell us how did you integrate ie7? With nlite using ie7.exe or using one of my addons posted here?
NaDer_GenKO
Hi 'mrnxdmx'

1- I download the IE7 for SP2 From Microsoft Here
2- Download nLite 1.3.5 Here

3- go to Integrate Hotfixes task in nLite and insert your Hotfixes and Updates and then Insert the IE7
then if you have IE7 Hotfixes insert it after the IE7 in order

this should be work with you

if you don't understand any thing write to me any time

Thank you NaDer_GenKO. This clears up the situation.
It occurs when you directly overwrite all IE7 files in xp disc.
This problem does not exist with my normal ie7 addon. But i will look in this issue and post here if i can find any solutions.

And dirtwarrior.
I will try this method.

I hope this will be fixed in the final version of 1.4.5

Until this i'll be using mrnxdmx addon.

Its not a big problem really, all one needs to do is reset the attributes for a desktop.ini file
moataz
Could you explain how to do that.
