I would like to edit the Black Mesa theme. !valkerie from deviantArt has also made his Photoshop sources available.

Would it be best to edit the .msstyles or to rebuild the theme after messing with the sources?

Is it possible to use some sort of wizards-like application to help me build the theme? I haven't done this before. Noob.

Here is the theme:

You could use ResHack to pop open the msstyle and replace the bitmaps with bitmaps of your own. Make sure they are the same dimensions. I'm thinking about making my own style, but that will be a while.

Is there any other way aside from reshack?

np just a note though, that program is still in 'beta' i think... although i believe the last time it was updated was almost 3 years ago =/

also i could never find a decent tutorial for that program.. so it will take a long time and a lot of trial and error to figure out some stuff
