I used a registry tweak and I am not sure which one but now the Windows desktop is dark blue, its not set to bliss when Windows installs, does anyone know any registry tweak to get bliss.jpg back as default? I made a registry backup before the tweak so I can get bliss.jpg back on again that way, or lol just change it by doing it manually but I mean, Windows is installing that way from a CD, some tweak has caused it.

just installed winxp sp3 on a vm install.. and noticed the default theme and the wallpaper wasn't set either.. and this is sp3 5512

also try doing a custom visual style and editting the msstyles and even when applying the theme it doesn't apply the wallpaper.. ??!? any solutions?

Idea: as a last resort, install IrfanView (it's freeware) and let that manage your wallpaper choice if all else fails.
