I'm creating a site for a company called "Vakttjeneste". Most of you won't understand what the hell is written on this page though. newwink.gif

But I want some criticism of the design. Anything that should be done?

PS: The text is not the text that will be there in the future, it is just to fill the page in order to see how it looks with text.

PPS: The domain is going to be a little more professional when everything is ready. newwink.gif

Here it is:
Vakttjeneste
Corvette
"Pass that dutch" away from me (That site is in dutch, but Pass that Dutch is Missy Elliot's new song so that's why I used it as a ha-ha  )

It is simple. Simple is always best for a business. Could use a footer.

What is the nature of the site. Is it a security company? The design and theme for any site should coinside with the nature of the site. The graphic appears to me as a "spill" or more of a "paint spill" on a floor. Attractive, but this image does not coinside with the nature of the site if the site is about security. I would suggest a graphical display of something more solid, strong, firm, and secure if you see where I am going with it. Example, "Rock of Gibraltar" is a solid, strong, firm, and secure image.

Good examples can be found at BoxedArt.com in the template section.

Thank's for the feedback.

I've removed the paintspill and added a footer to the site. I've also set a minimum height to the main contents by 400 pixels.

Anyway... It looks a hell of a lot better now. I got contacted by my contractor today. I will get the info (approx 50 pages of text and images), and I have a deadline of 2 weeks. Then it's payday. Weeeee! biggrin.gif

Vipersnake: It's not dutch. It's norwegian. newwink.gif (And latin, but that's not important)
