i recently bought aoeIII and installed it on my comp, i have windows vista home premium. After i installed the game and clicked play, i would get an error [ "Error Loading C:\Windows\system32/gameux.dll" ] and as soon as i would click ok, the game would run and after a minue or so, the screen would go completey blue, and all i can read as it is on only for a second, is that a problem has occured and windows needs to restart..

i then searched for some answers, and was told to Download gameux.dll here: http://files.filefront.com/gameuxdll/;8055393;/fileinfo.html, after i did that, that solved the initial problem of
[ "Error Loading C:\Windows\system32/gameux.dll" ]

then the game starts, and after a miniute the screen goes blue, for a second, and my computer restarts...

any ideas, that would be helpfull, thank you.

Video, sound drivers, update DirectX.. no specs posted so hard to say much else.

where can i find the info?

if you want to know the info of your PC, follow these steps

1. go to start menu and click run
2. in the run dialogue box type Dxdiag and press enter, directx diagnostics tool dialogue box appears click yes and then proceed.

3. you can see all the information related to your PC
4. click save all informations to save your configurations.
5. Attach the file or copy and paste the information in this thread.
