[Guide] Install 2 OSes at once [aka dual boot]:

this is what i tested now so i marked it for testers only
cos i cant ensure that all go right at this point

Vmware would be good choice to do that
with mapping the drive to host pc u could easily use imageX to capture it

lets start:

1. install xp [ config it as u like ]
[use nlite to change the directories like: from windows to win and docu & settings
to user and program files to pro or something smiler just dont use vista dirs
so its wont move it and its all gone]

[remove the empty files from c: drive like: autoexec.bat and config.sys so
vista installation wont move them and clear the old boot sector
However with easybcd could recover it easily any few cmds]

2. use sysperp reseal
[ to clean the the personal data from the regs ]
[ dont enter this os again]

3. install vista or any win6 os
4. capture all the partion

[notice to install the xp and vista at the same partion ]

5.replace that image with the original image but use the original system32\config\ files

shortcut from 3:
add the windows xp files to image of the original image and edit the bcd store [c:\BCD\bcd]

or
after installation of vista use imagex to apply
the windows xp wim image to the same partion of vista

and then do those cmd and reboot






notices:

cant be sure its work on non-locally pc


after entering to xp os u will need to set it a bit like key product and few things
its take around 2-3 mins to all done and ready to work

the applying of the xp wim image take around 1.5-2 min to 1.1giga

any suggests are welcome

i gonna research the winpe soon maye its could do it without install win6 first

just need to install the new boot and apply this image with winpe run the cmd and its all done at less then 10min
