I never had such problem with other installs sans vLite, and thanks to brevity (or the lack of useful information ) of error message, I can only suspect whatever services/system related choices I have made with vLite. Both "Wired AutoConfig" and "Extensible Authentication Protocol" are present and running, I wonder what else could cause something like this?

When I create a random WEP network and change the security type to 802.1x, the available network authentication menu goes blank (I need EAP-MSCHAP v2). Any thoughts? Thanks!

would I have to start anew from an unadelerated version of vista? or is there a simpler way to add event log? thx!
