Hi,

I tried to integrate sp3 with win xp using nlite. I also tried to integrate driverspack using their method. After installation, i got a message that some system files in sp3 were modified and I was asked to insert sp3 cd. What is this error and whether I can ignore these messages and if so, How can avoid seeing this messages while slipsteaming and what setting should I cahnge. Iasked the driverpacks forum and they say that the error is not due to driverpacks. I need your guidance.

It's called "SFC" or system file checker\protection.

You can disable it in the options page. (Right below uxtheme patch)

Hi,

Yet to install the new xp slipstreamed version. But I have a doubt. Why does this message appear. I have not changed any system files. If it is changing the drivers i.e. froms driverpacks, then if after installation, it happens to use sfc /scannow option, will it complain of system files replaced and ask for xp sp3 cd or not. I am curious to know whether my first slipstreamed cd work without a hitch.

Hi,

I also want to know that when to slipstream drivers. I use driverpacks method to slipstream drivers. Some say that it should be at the last stage before creating the iso(i.e after using all the nlite options to remove components, languages, keyboards etc. because i used the order in which nlite tables the options ie slipstreaming, hotfixes, drivers, removing components. etc. I will be thankful if I get d detailed installtion method incorporating both the nlite and driverpacks method.
