Hi! My name is Peter "PC Pete". I've enjoyed the helpful tips on MSFN for years. I found MSFN looking for info on unattended discs, and made my own experimental unattended disc a few years ago.

It was time for me to re-install XP on my own PC. I checked out my old disc, but it seemed archaic considering the latest trends in computing, so I used the opportunity to document what I was installing, why, and how. I'll turn this into an unattended disc eventually! I don't consider this document finished, but I do consider it comprehensive. I'm looking for feedback on what's missing, or what could be improved.

Windows XP(cpete) - my step-by-step guide to install Windows XP and set up essential apps

I look forward to sharing information with other forum members in the future.

Regards,
PC Pete
