I found really good application for with registry, it combines regedit and regmon in one application and I find it really great.
It's called RegWorks, look at it's homepage

Some more features (ripped from page newwink.gif )

* Standard regedit and regmon functions
* Key comparison
* Copy, Cut, Paste functions
* Registry hives support
* Safe registry import procedure
* Editing permissions
* Flexible multiple-window interface
* Favorites
* Flexible filter and highlighting rules in the registry monitor
* and much more...

It's SHAREWARE though ...
zhenya
Thanks for your post Narag!

Yes, RegWorks is shareware, but it is only $30 per single license.
Please, contact our support team and get 20% Christmas discount!

Good luck!

30$ ?!? you already have regedit... why bother ?
zhenya
Does regedit meet all your needs? Is it convenient and powerful? If no, take a look at RegWorks! May be you'll find all that you need.

Of course if you think that regedit+regedt32+regmon are good enough, there is no reasons to pay $30 smile.gif .

I want to note, that RegWorks is not just a registry editor, it is the registry maintenance tool. It already includes registry editor and registry monitor, and you'll find something else in 1.2 newwink.gif . Coming soon! smile.gif

unsure.gif is it me or zhenya & Narag are the same person but trying to sell there product wacko.gif
zhenya
Of course you right! Wait a minute, I'll activate some more accounts and we start to sell RegWorks all together!

Yes, I'm trying to sell RegWorks (judge me!), but I am not familiar with Naraq (and it is not my second nick).
I think, that moderators are able to prove my case (GeoIP will help us smile.gif ).

zhenya,

Have you considered a FAQ and/or support page with guides on your site? Personally, I always look for those before I bother with shareware.
What is the difference between the trial and the registered? Is the trial the full app or is it limited in any way other than a limited time period?

Thanks
XtremeMaC
zhenya & Narag's flags have the same colors! a bit different than each other though:P
$30 is just too much for a registry program!. should be more like $10.
MSNwar
$30.00 is a lot to much IMO. Do not want to play it down, so do not take me wrong way. Without FAQs, Guides, User Comments, forum, etc.
techguy21801
why pay..i bet you can find the same kind of program free on the net tongue.gif
zhenya
Thanks for your note, MSNwar!

I am agree with you about FAQ, guides, etc. I will work in that direction.
And what about difference between trial and registered version:

-- no nag screen
-- you'll get all 1.x versions for free

May be I should'nt post it here. Please, correct me if so.

To XtremeMaC:
Please, validate your opinion: why only $10?
Some examples: Resplendence Registrar -- $45, RegSafe -- $60,
Registry Organizer -- ~$30. And please, lets close the question about my and Naraq identity -- it is'nt so!

To techguy21801:
Please, give me the link of such a free program. I cant found it over the net.
May be it is'nt there?

To all:
Please, before saying that RegWorks is worth nothing, download and try it!
If you find it ugly, unacceptable or unusable, please, let me know and I'll try to make it better!

Thanks for your replies!

I'd downloaded it
waiting 8 seconds sucks tongue.gif (well I know thats why there is purchase option, anyways:) )
QUOTE (zhenya)
it is the registry maintenance tool.

though I didn't see this part, how is it maintaining? is it just the monitoring part?
I couldn't really use it since it wanted a restart(I haven't restarted)
zhenya
I meant that it includes both registry editor and registry monitor. Registry editor has some advanced features, for example -- key comparison (I have'nt seen it anywhere before). Use load hives + Copy/Paste and you'll get the tool for restoring your registry settings from damaged systems. Did you already tried registry search? Try it, and you'll see that it is fast and convenient.

Please, don't try to run registry monitor before rebooting. But when reboot you'll see (I hope), that it is more flexible and convenient than regmon.

It is nice that a legit author with a legit product gives you a free trial for your personal use and then listens to your comments and offers his personal assistance. How many times have you tried to get in contact with tech support for an application just to be put off? How about communicating directly to the author/developer of an application? You do not see this kind of attention every day!

Yes, it cost money, but if it was completely free how long do you think it would be available. Peter Norton did the same thing back in the early 90s and look where it is today.

If zhenya or any author were to make a hit-n-run post without returning to answer questions or offer technical assistance I would consider it SPAM and trash the thread. However, zhenya is supporting his producting and not pushing sales.

Try it if you are interested and if you have constructive comments then post them in a orderly manner.
