I cannot believe how much i have learnt from this site in such a short time, and i am very grateful.

I still do not know how to put a quote into a post, someone tried to explain it to me,but being a bit of a thicko, (me that is) i still could not get it.

I Have tried all the ways i can think of, but getting no where.

All i am certain of is that the QUOTE tag is used.

I can edit a .iss file but i can't put a quote into a post!

Please can some one explain it again in lots of detail.

Quoting Posts

Displayed above each post in a topic, there is a 'Quote' button. Pressing this button will allow you to reply to a topic, and have the text from a particular reply quoted in your own reply. When you choose to do this, an extra text field will appear below the main text input box to allow you to edit the content of the post being quoted.
