heya guyz I been playing halo a lot now but the past few days it been really playing u 4 example it deletes my Saved games tells me i gotta do anothing profile and also it crashes when joinig CTF games any ideas?

well, that can happen if you saved games with a different version of halo and load it now with a different version. (you know, all the update crap - latest patch being 1.0.3). If you did a save-game with halo 1.0.2, you've got to load it also with the same version - the save-game would be incompatible with other versions.


I've also seen what you describe happen in the below numbered situation:
1. people update the game from official website to play multi-player
2. not being genuine owners of the game, they don't have the original cd.
3. an error comes on starting the game asking to put the cd in the drive.
4. They get a no-cd crack and such.
5. but now they have a hacked game, and inconsistencies are to be expected.


If you own halo, try uninstalling and re-installing the game and then update it.
Or otherwise, play only in single-player and LAN modes and be happy.

If nothing else works, use the standard solution :
format your C: drive, and re-install windows and halo

i fixed it but all i did was Defragment so must been file moved or sumthing but o well work now but thx 4 ya help prathapml
