Tried doing a search in the forums and google, but I can't find any information. I'm not sure what type of install package this is either.
Anyone know how to silently install this ICQ Pro 2003b?

Hi,
does anyone know a solution?
I tried it with "icqpro2003b.exe /s" but after finishing the installaition, icq asks for the icq-number and password! Is it possible to integrate the number and password automaticly, with a regfile, etc?

Its been a long time since I used ICQ, but I vaguely remember that ICQ keeps contact information, message logs and your user info into one of its folders. So you'd only need to copy over the folder unattendedly.

Hi,
now i have a solution to install icq silently!
icqpro2003b.exe /S
taskkill.exe /F /IM icq.exe
with this method, icq will install silently, but after the first start of icq, you have to enter your icq-number and password!

icq used to keep its settings in a branch called Mirabilis, I don't know if they still do. I'm still using a pretty old version here, mostly because I don't know if you can still disable the ad banners in the new versions. Anyways, even if they've switched from Mirabilis to a different entry, you'll likely still find it by searching the registry for ICQ.
