NSX. It's the only car on the list that actually has a chance of increasing in value as it gets older (if it's properly maintained).

In this poll Skyline is the best. Mustang blows....its a FORD (F**ker Only Runs Downhill). And for the best car I would go with the new 750 hp Lamborhinig Murcielago revision coming out...the Bugatti Veyron and the hopfully soon to be coming Aston Martin V12 Vanquish Vantage. Ok ok throw in the Pagani Zonda as well.....the high end model...and the Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. Yep I think thats it.

Its a no contest, If you know anything about tuning cars youll know the skyline is the king of it. There isnt any car on that list that even comes close to matching a fully tuned skyline, I know this cause ive seen some of the top ones in Uk 900+ Bhp R33's

As for ppl who put mustang, You ppl need to be shot. No disrespect but when it comes to cars the USA doesnt have a clue how to make anything other than big gas guzzling str8 line cars, Try turning a corner in a mustang and you'll end up in a ditch.

thats simply one of the best cars ever produced in my opinion. i dont like the import cars simply because of what they were/are. theyre too hard to work on too, everything is in the wrong place and they always use weird parts. stupid engineers. the only thing better about them, is the quality of the look, thats about it. everything fits together better whereas the domestic vehicles are not 100%. that sort of thing doesn;t but me in the least though, id prefer to have a domestic simply because theyre tougher and can handle more. (im talking about trucks and that)

iv driven honda's, they gutless. a 4 cylinder has almost no power, sure they can "soup" them up, but they still wont compare to classic muscle cars.

my dream car is the 1970 Chevelle SS LS6, bloody nice car. uncle has one, White pearl with blue stripes. the engine thats in it is a turbo charged 427, delivers over 900hp with nos. man driving that was a privalge

66-67 Chevelle with a slightly modded 350 LT1

I used to run a 66 chevelle which was built for street and strip, man was that thing hot. 12.4 sec. 1/4 mile. Probably could have done better, but this was my everyday car. Cracks me up all the imports sound like a D**n mad Mosquito but don't go no where. Even my Grand Am has a Beefier sound. Right now I have a 66 Chevelle body/frame that me and my boy (He'll be 8) will start working on next year.

How do you qualify 'the best car'? Affordability, cool style and performance. If those are the qualifiers, then this one fits the bill to a tee for me. Found here. This car has no fat but is totally phat. It has one purpose and that is to drive and drive well. If you want ammenities, then look elsewhere. The Skyline is probably the most impressive on this list. Muscle cars have their charm but imports are about efficiency. My subaru can make the same power as that shelby and its less than half the size and it sounds beefy with the right catless turboback exhaust. Performance is more than big engine blocks and roaring beasts under the hood. It boils down to a simple ratio lbs/hp the combination of weight and power determine performance on acceleration and turns. I love the classic Muscle cars as much as the next guy but they are dinosaurs to the new generations. The Skyline will be a legendary car someday, and it will have its following for generations to come as do all legendary cars from the Ford Model-T the the Bugatti Veyron.

a real car is a 2007 Halltech Corvette. [which is possibly the fastest car around (after mods of course)]

specs haven't been released for it yet, don't know if theres more than 1 either.

i've seen modified big block V8's that are rockin ethanol, so don't go rippin that we have no fuel economy. in fact, i met a guy at a small local car show, his car was a beast rockin a twin turbocharged LS7 [7.0 litre V8] in a Factory Five GTM kit car...cost him a little over 130k, but he said that there isn't a car in the US that can beat it. of course, its not street legal, he's only able to take it to car shows within 10 miles of his home, any more than that and he needs a trailer.

also, imports are only fuel efficient because they have 1-3L 4 cylinder engines...thats fine, but you need to spend a lot more to get the same power you could back in the late 60's.

i'd vote for the mustang only if it was a 1969 Shotgun...[not even AC Cobra, those weren't Mustangs ..ever]

the question here was more like which car sucks more and costs less for the power. i guess i wouldn't vote for any of them, i've seen much better.
