If you look at the sticky list of App Switches, the VB6 switch to use is just: /Q
You can download the 1MB VB6SP5.exe here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb6.../vbrun60sp5.exePlease do some reading on this forum if you need further switches.

You are wrong, /Q will not work on VISUAL BASIC 6 install, I already read & tried that !!
Might work for SP5.

Brian,
The file I am referring to is the VB6 SP5 RUNTIME. If you are looking to install the VB6 development environment, then you should look at the type of installer program it uses, and generate a command line consistent with it.
Perhaps a bit more detail in your request would have made it easier for folks like me to answer you accurately. Detailing the version you were using and which type of program would help those folks in the know.

Visual Basic 6.0 enterprise edition.
I am unable to tell which type of installer program it uses.
I am hoping someone who has the Visual Basic 6 install can help me find a silent switch for this.

That would be interesting because it wants to reboot in between and then install MSDN, then backoffice which I decline then last SP5(not the Runtime).
Am working on that myself Brian
BTW most the files needed for runtime are installed on a fresh install with at least SP1, there is just a couple I've come across that aren't. I'd have to look at SP5(run) again.
