So there is no adcpy.ini file, there are however MST files which one can edit for Group Policy installation, if anyone here does that. That is kinda my last resort to silently install this other than command line MSI stuff, but how can I slip the Serial # into the install via a command line install???

Also, you can edit the MST and it shows you all the .REG keys its going to be putting in, I have yet to actually install it but when I do it will be easy to drop the keys in the MST file and save it out and have a fully auto installation.

For those that want to check out the MSI/MST stuff (good for app deployment across large LANs via Active Directory and win2k & 03), IT admins and the like, the programs I have found that are best are Wise for Windows Installer, and Dev Studio 9 from Installshield. The Dev Studio is loaded crazy with options though, Wise is nice because of the simplicity and usefulness though.

Anyways, the original subject was AE6, and I am still looking for a quick answer!

there is no simple answer, your only option is to do it the way you outlined, also you might want to just try the /qn switch if you have not already

start /w AR6.msi /qb

That is what I use. I renamed the original MSI file to AR6.msi to make it easyer to make the batch file.

Hope this helps
