Winamp Slient Install OPTION


Winamp502_full.exe /S /install=DSRFQA
taskkill.exe /F /IM winamp.exe

S = Start Menu Icon
R = Fake Registration
D = Desk Top Icon
Q = Quicklaunch Icon
A = Run Winamp Agent/Set Dufault
F = File Association

wow no need for msi installers I guess
but it would be nice not to have winamp poping up..
how does the "F" work?

my question is, does that really work?
I tried it once and left out the options for D and Q, but the shortcuts were still created...

and XtremeMaC, those switches have been around since like 2.9 tongue.gif no one used them though as the functionality was slightly broken

Hello Guys.....my first Post ^^......i had foundt a switch thats works great, i have test it, here it is:

ECHO Starts Testinstalling of Winamp
C:\winamp502_full.exe /S /NCRC
taskkill.exe /F /IM winamp502_full.exe
ECHO.

The Switch comes from http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/unat...s.html?rev=1.36

well i tried your method and it installed winamp
but on the other hand it froze the install, had to
con alt del and end program, now it did continue
on but the point is, you know, no UI.......

does any know if we can remove the taskill and
it will continue???

I created a sfx rar file with winamp in it.
