Hi yall

Need some help with Nero 5.5.10.56 as I don't like 6.3

Some of same switches work such as

nero.exe /silent /noreboot /no_ui

BUT

for some reason when installing the setup installer says it cant decompress a file and fails, however if i run the setup again from the command line after it has rebooted it works fine?

i dont understand this as the installer works and works when the system is booted up but will not work on first boot up?

maybe some swiches from 6.3 are working?

yep - most switches from 6 work

it is just that the installer falls over when decompressing files - have tried various 5.5.10 versions to no avail

thinking about making own installer with installshield

have ver 6.3 working well

problem solved - dont know why though

moved nero down the batch so that it executes near the end of the batch file rather than at the start and all is going well

why - buggered if i know

The new switches in 6 isn't in 5.5. To find out, do a Nero55xx.exe /help

I use this Line: \Nero5582\Nero5582.exe /silent /noreboot
ECHO. Works perfect. I use the same line with the 55.10.54 update.
