I thought these kinds of tech forums would be mostly for 20 years and above/adults. It's good that there are teenagers on this forum!

I'm a teen. As far as MSFN goes, I'm suprised by the amount of mature teens we have here. Flaming is practically non-existant. MSFN is one great place to be!

I'm a teen too! biggrin.gif

Not me. Older than dirt, lol. Yes, the teens here at MSFN are some of the matureist and smartest people I know. I like seeing teens start something that I have seen done many times over the years, but with new twists, often due to advancements in technology or education. Gamehead200 is a very bright teen, but does not know how to use a camera properly! Joking Gamehead. Remember the vacation in Mexico, lol. Everyone here that has already posted in this thread I have always considered smarter and more mature than the average teen. There are also some very wise teens that have yet to post in this thread. Also, imagine the guests that are teens that do not post because they think they are not up to it. I get emails from guest teens too embarassed to post sometimes. Once they realize that all of us "teens and oldies like me" will be happy to help without ridicule it will be a better day.

Thanks to all MSFN Teens and the membership at large we are the best community on the net INHO.

Without offending anyone, I must say that from all the countless hours I have spend browsing online forums I have concluded that the average teen knows more about computers than the average adult! ... So hail the mighty teens, they who shall own the internet for all time to come tongue.gif

... and yes, I'm a teen too newwink.gif

i feel too old (19 here)
and I'm jealous of the ones younger then me!
they were born right on when the technology was super duper.
so they meet with all those funky stuff smile.gif
I met a computer when I was 7. (386dx). i don't know maybe it works out like this, since i saw some soft of change from 386 to p4.

I think the wisest ppl would be the one's that have been following the technology for a long time, so say they're 30-40 years old and have been following. I think those ppl know the best (if they are renewing their knowledge, with updates & latest technology)

I think my first computer was a computer with DOS on it, that had a 3.5" floppy drive and a 5.25" floppy drive on it. That was 11 years ago! I think I took it apart last year! tongue.gif

I didn't even like computers until about 5 years ago- probably because the first computer I got was a Compaq. I've never had so many problems with a computer before as I did with that one.
XtremeMaC
u're right about compaq's
apart from that my friend had to buy a compaq ram while he was upgrading his ram mb. kingston twinmos etc. didn't work!
trev
In my opinion, Compaq isn't a good computer.
