What you need is CDShell. If you use it with Reanimalogs BCDW you can fake the Windows look (See pic). But it isn't a true GUI. I don't think there is one that will work at boot.

Easyboot is very easy to use that CDShell,
Alanoll
That it is. But CDShell is free biggrin.gif

I feel that CDSHell has greater abilities to be customized then EasyBoot.
FFA
jow but can some one tell me whats wrong with that since i can not boot from the sectores there are just like pro1.DAT i have make it from my windows xp pro sp1 but the problem is i the boot sector do'es not work biggrin.gif
Alanoll
you made the boot sector wrong. Simple as that.

Broken paths, or the like. When editing the file in HEX, be sure to use CAPS
FFA
hehe i'm sorry to say i have not do it wrong i know it i have edit the pro1.DAT file in hexeditor and i have not use caps soo it is not that
Alanoll
uh....

Even if your folders aren't in caps, type in the HEX editor in caps.

Alanoll

I am also getting this error code. I have checked and double checked everything being edited with Hex Workshop 4.2. Can anyone give any more suggestions. Path's and file locations are correct also.
Screwz Luse
I had that error once. I don't recall what the problem was anymore. It deffinately reminds me of a bad ISO or setupdlr.bin file problem. I can't recall anymore though.
FFA
ok you say is is a bad setupdlr.bin file there is corrupt or somthing like that but how do i fix this problem?
LiquidSage
i hope you are saving the file as a fresh iso everytime you play w/ a multiboot iso. anyone using winiso? shame on you.

Are you replacing the hex correctly?

changing the boot file w/o recompiling a fresh iso can corrupt it
merrelldj
Yes, I have deleted and started from scratch 4 times, completely got rid of everything and followed the instructions very slowly. When you say replacing the hex correctly, the instructions say to use edit->replace, with all caps. Finds 4 and replaces all 4. So I am lost as to what I ought to try next.
FFA
To LiquidSage

I understand what you meen about winiso but i have use the cmd commands and take the command from the guide and know it says maybe the setupdlr.bin in my xp root folder is corupt or the folder PRO1 but are there special command so it dosent be corupt?
FFA
and yes i make a Fresh ISO file evry time i make one. smile.gif
