I know xper and rick have issues seeing my site on a friends server and we are trying to figure out the issue why some people see the site or others get a 404.

Can everyone, especially xper and rick do the following from a dos prompt and copy and paste the results here:

That's what alot of people are getting. Rick got that all the time and now his trace route looks ok.

It's very odd, works fine one hour, then bam doesn't resolve the next.

would look to me like there is a router going spastic just outside of your server.

No it is not on my servers. It is on a friends server. I keep my personal and business separated.

What I and he wanted to find out for those who had issues and got " can not resolve" can you run this now:

tracert quasar.hyperdrivedns.com

and

tracert 63.247.87.146

By seeing these tracerts we can determine if it's the domains dns routing or the datacenter dns routing.

So it would seem most of the issues lay on the domain, which would make me believe it's the domain registrar routing and not the data center.
