Alcohol 120% v1.9.2.1705
Inc. Registration & Settings

i've seen quite a few people say they're having trouble getting this installed and registered, here's my switches and reg files for you to use.

it installs it silently, registers it, and inputs my default settings, which include taking the virtual drive off by default, as any average home user might not understand what it is.

u don't really need the info after the registration...
other than that I'm sure its very usefull for most ppl.
did u write that alhabet? or did u copy and paste it from somewhere? laugh.gif

anyways since ppl now are using lots of msi editors
ppl could easily integrate that registry key into the msi. that's how I use it.
well if those settings are the same with paul3vanz, u could even put them into the msi as well
ow msi, just click on the setup exe and it will extract the msi...
paul3vanz
thats interesting XtremeMaC, i've not tried an MSI editor yet. i use INNO setup for my custom installs. is it possible to edit the MSI in Alcohol 120% that has already been created? or are they protected.

i wasn't clear before about those other reg settings, but i thought people might like them if they want to disable the virtual drive and/or tweak the default settings.
XtremeMaC
they're are not protected
as a matter of fact I haven't seen any msi that's protected
the program executable itself puts on the protection
so if u enter a wrong key its going to work in demo mode..

Thank you!!!
I have been looking all over to find out how to get alcohol 120 to stop bringing up the "found new hardware wizard" . If in install alcohol from a batch file under winnt.sif, seems to work great, but if i use RunOnceEx.cmd from cmdlines.txt
It stops and brings up that wizaed, if i cancel it all is ok, i install daemon tools as well so i dont need the virtual drive from alcohol.

Thanks again!!! woot.gif
